Covid-19 : Died in Bogra, two people, including a businessman

Two more people have died of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in Bogra. One died at the Corona Unit of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogra between 4am and 6am on Friday and another died at the private TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital.

According to the administration of the private TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital, a woman with covidia died at around 4 am today while undergoing treatment in the corona unit of the hospital. Her name is Deepali Saha (65). Her husband’s name is Binoy Bihari Saha. The woman was a resident of Dakshin Sahapara Mahalla in Sherpur town of Bogra.

Abdur Rahim, a spokesman for TMSS Medical College Hospital and assistant executive officer (AO) of the hospital, confirmed the death of a patient in Kovid in the first light, saying the patient was admitted to TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital on July 8 with symptoms of Kovid. On the same day, his samples were collected and sent to the RT-PCR laboratory of TMSS Medical College for Covid test. On July 6, he was diagnosed with covid positive in a report from the laboratory. He died at the hospital this morning.

A  team of volunteers from the Bogra branch of the Quantum Foundation handed over Dipali Saha’s body to her family in accordance with the guidelines and hygiene rules of the Department of Health and IEDCR, making it suitable for traditional religious ceremonies and funerals.

On the other hand, according to the sources of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, a patient named Munshur Ali (65) died in Kovida in the corona unit of the hospital around 6 am today. He was a resident of Madrasapara area of ​​Shajahanpur in Bogra and a rice trader.

Taslima Khatun, the daughter of the patient who died in Kovid, told Prothom Alo on her mobile phone that the patient had given a sample of Kovid’s symptoms at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital on July 12. After collecting his samples and sending them to the RT-PCR laboratory of the Medical College for Covid test, he was identified as Covid positive in the report from there. He was admitted to the corona unit of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital on July 19. He died this morning while undergoing treatment.

A volunteer team from the Quantum Foundation has handed over his body to his family for burial after Janazah at the hospital premises in accordance with the hygiene rules as per the instructions of the Department of Health.

According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, 4,420 Kovid-19 patients have been identified in Bogra till Thursday. Of these, 91 died.
